Sonor snare from 50's

In one of my previous posts I mentioned ruined Sonor snare 14 1/2"(37cm).I pick up just Sonor teardrop from 1970 20-12-13-16.But I trade some MIT snare for this Sonor snare few days ago.And here it is.It is COB,seamed shell,6" deep, parallel snare mechanism.Previous owner(s),cut it to 14" snare.but fortunately, one of the hoops is intact.Small peace of metal was cut out from each side of new seam he made it.Best I found on the net is from Sonor 1957-58 cat.scan D425,but it is 7",and mine is 6".

Thanks for any info on model of this snare

Strip it for parts and throw out the junk shell !! The hoops on that model should be cast !! Careful with that badge,..they`re hard to come by !! The missing or broken parts will be a search too, but you have 80% of one now !!

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

It is very thin brass shell.Hoops are not die cast and they are from steel, magnet stick to them.Besides shell, and one hoop which is also cut in diameter , one tension rod is missing and one lug insert has broken upper part

If your going to part it out ,I;d be interest on the supersensitive system and the slotted tension rods! I have a lot of stuff for trade!
