The originals were maple from about 8 yrs ago.Anyone have experience with these drums be it good or bad?

Wayne,I had the Delite's which where one step above the S class, but they had the thin maple shells also!

Those tubs are very, very nice sounding drums. Medium level Sonor, made in Germany. I found a set of them several years ago. I was amazed at how great they sound. Good for you!
