Does anyone know what the production period was in the manufacturing of these snares? I know they started in 1987 but was it for 5 yrs. or 10 yrs. in production? Sonor knowledge please and thanks in advance.

I would ask over at the sonormuseum.com They would know. There wasn't a whole lot of them made, something around 200. Glad I bought mine when I did.. Wish I would have bought a phonic set...

Thanks latz,i`ll check that out.I too wish i had bought a sonor set then(sig. series) but i bought a house and well that was that. We`re very fortunate to have our 590`s that`s for certain.Think we`re the only two on here that has them.
