Hey Everyone! I am completely new to this forum, but I already have a question about a drum kit I have. I have a Sonor Hilite kit in the black diamond finish (I will post pictures as soon as I can). Sizes are 22 kick, 12 and 13 toms, 16 and 18 floor toms, and a 14x7 snare (matching). It is only a shell pack, so there is no hardware other than the tom mount. Does anyone have an idea on a value for this kit?

Oh, and they are in great condition!
we are going to need pics...
Chrome or Copper hardware? Pics...
They have chrome hardware. I can get the pics up in a couple days when I get a chance to go by the studio. Thanks for your help!
Sorry for the delay, but here are some pictures! Thanks for any help you can give me on a value for this kit.
Can't tell you much about value, but that is one sweet kit you've got there!
Ballpark? Conservatively, I would say $2500.00 If they brought a little more, I wouldn't be shocked.
Hilites were the 1st all-maple Sonors, I think. I know a few Sonor snobs who look down at them because, in their view, "real Sonors are made from beech". I don't necessarily believe that, but then I'm not a Sonor snob. Yours look like they are in nice condition, in a cool finish. They also look like they have deeper toms, which is kind of out of style right now, but old Sonors always seem to have deeper toms, and Sonor fans do not seem to mind that.
There are 2 Hilite kits on ebay right now - one is in smaller bop sizes, the other one is a Black Diamond set that is much closer to yours. The sellers are asking $2500 for the smaller kit and $3000 for the larger kit. I would expect that those prices are inflated a bit because everyone wants to do better than break even on a sale. So I'd say a conservative value on your kit is $2500, but again, if it sold for more I wouldn't be surprised.
Thanks for all the info! That's about what I thought, except mine includes the matching snare, unlike the ones on ebay right now. With that being said, is anyone interested?! Thanks again Ludwig von Buzzthoven. And thanks for the nice comment Rocketman, it really is a great kit!
Nobody is interested?! Last time before they go on eBay!
