Sonor Drum Restoration-Skin Yellowing issue

Loading...

I have a 1970s Sonor set witha pearl silver-white laminate skin. It has yellowed and I am wondering if there is a away to get rid of the yellowing? I have been able to clean off the yellow, mildew looking spots with a variety of agents, but that yellow hue remains. Thanks!

No, the yellow is there to stay. All you can do is keep it clean. You can try to lighten it a bit with possibly a fine grade auto polish. The lighter colors are always prone to yellowing.

I have a Sonor silver sparkle set which I am now refinishing and the yellowing went deep into the wrap. It's not just a surface issue.
