Sonor Acryl or acylic?

Loading...

Does anyone have any thoughts or info on these drums. I have a 22" & 13" in clear finish (70's era). Unfortunately the 13" is cracked the entire shell from top to bottom. I can't seem to find much interest or info on the web.

Thought I would ask.

Thanks.

Thank You,

....looks like tumbleweeds here as well....

Post a couple of pix, maybe someone will see them and it will jog loose a nut somewhere. I haven't heard of them either. WOnder if Ralf knows? Shoot him a PM and ask. I looked in my bin and found the right plate, but the backing bar is in another bin, and mt wife moved all of my parts to the garage, so now I have a jumble of crap and have to dissect the pile to find everything  so as soon a sI get it found, it will be in the way. Sorry about that last one, I didn't think to measure it because I really didn't think about there being more than 2 sizes of plates.

'Info on the web':

http://www.sonormuseum.com/1979/acrylics.html

and

http://www.sonormuseum.com/forum/search.php?sid=7794f115c6a1af4534e6749228a3bf0a

(enter: acrylic)

The Sonor site states that it is produced approx. 1978/79.

What kind of further info are you looking for?

Thanks Ralf.

Well...first off, I have to repair or junk the 13" tom.

In addition, I would love to complete with at least a floor tom.

No pics yet.

Thanks.
