From Spartacus

Let's not be so harsh to judge, let's evaluate what he has here. Drums made in Germany by Germans probably making 50 grand a year. A kit that has no historical value or owned by a well known drummer. A kit, mind you, that most likely cost less than 2 grand to make and that probably sold new for 5 grand. But, sure, by all means, ask for $14,000, who knows, you may get lucky and find a rich sucker.

He's at about $1,700 a drum. Maybe don't want to sell. You wont see that build, that kit, or that badge ever again.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

Update: Have been away for a while. My Dad passed. Had to get his affairs in order then sell his residence. Nearly done now so probably in April I will take some fresh photos that include everything in a use configuration as well as creating two additional versions of eBay listings: One as a small ensemble version and the other a rock version. The small set will have the 18" bass drum and SONOR snare with the other featuring the 24" BD and a Ludwig Super Sensitive snare. I haven't yet gotten to restoring the Ludwig snare but it's on the to-do list.

(Update January 2) Done and thanks for your patience! I have revised the eBay listing and am in the process of the beginning phase of creating listings reflecting subdivision of the set into two smaller versions. I expect to launch those in April or May 2021.

As of 9 May 2021 the set, yes, the entire 8 pieces, stands and all, is SOLD and paid in full. As I had so hoped for I am delighted it is going to a fellow appreciator of all things SONOR and an expert drum historian and restorer. Thanks to all for input, comments and recommendations.

Access remains to My Photobucket for additional items that will be listed in due time. Further details can be found at https://s1376.photobucket.com/user/robertjms/library
