Some very Cool Pictures Of Buddy Rich !

Here we go.! the first pic,, This is a very rare photo of Buddy Rich and Lionel Hampton at the Felt Forum in New York performing at the Gene Krupa Tribute concert to celebrate Gene's life - what I don't understand and cannot figure out is why the front head on Gene's kit, which is high on a platform is so badly made up - the Slingerland badge is tilted and Gene's famous logo looks as though it has been added on and is completely wrongly placed - very weird - surely Slingerland could have got that right for such an important and memorable occasion. the 3rd pic is Buddy Johnny Carson, and Buddy Rich's daughter Cathy Rich.

Notice also that the 3rd pic, in addition to being "just plain cool"... is backwards! This happened a LOT with drummers/drum pics as the photographer/studio that made the print has NO IDEA as to how a drum set is set up, or if the drummer is left handed or right handed! I have a TON of pics.. ( a lot never seen in print ) .. of BR in my collection and quite a few are printed backwards!
