Some Things For Sale

Loading...

I am thinking about selling a few things to help pay for some of the stuff I have bought lately/want to buy currently. If anyone wants to make an offer on any of these things, send me a PM or email. I can send pics etc and we can work out a deal.

1977(ish) Big R Dynasonic Snare COB: Great shape. 5x14 All original except heads. Serial 7xxxxx. The adjustment knob on the strainer has a slight bend in it which makes it wobble slightly when turned. Could easily be straightened out. Great Chrome. New Remo heads.

1960's 16 Inch KRUT Crash Cymbal: Not in the greatest shape, but still sounds like KRUT!

Brand New Tama "Swivel Leg" Hi-Hat stand with clutch: Chain Drive. Has the 90's style footboard. Nice stand.

1960's Camco Straight Flatbase Stand: Rigged up in place of both section adjustment thumb screws. Lower one is broken off inside and keeps the stand in its position. Top one is adjustable with a wrench. Tilter is all original including top wing nut. Would be restorable. Nice Chrome. Missing rubber feet.

1970's Slingerland 12 inch 5 ply shell. Black Cortex. Black/Silver Niles badge. Shell, wrap, and badge only. Finish is in nice shape. Tight seam. Great edges. Real nice shell.

1970's (Blue Post) Slingerland "Tempo King" bass drum pedal: Missing original strap. Rigged up with a replacement. Original beater. Missing one of the three screws that holds the black rubber heel plate in place. Easily replaceable.

Rogers 7 Line Dynasonic Shell #2804 Latest B+B Dyna I have heard of. Shell, Top Hoop, 4 working lugs, 4 broken casings/inserts/springs, 8 Tension Rods, and butt plate. Super rare shell.

I think that is it for now! Let me know what you are interested in. Buyer to pay shipping.

Thanks!

I have a single ply red sparkle MIJ snare that is very fat and woody....I want something you have...wanna think about it? Sarp re-rings, fully restored. Actually, there was a video post of a similar one a couple of weeks ago, the guy that had the Slingerland strainer, it is the same shell and S/S hoops, but much nicer, and no real fade on the wrap, 100% nice drum.

I am thinking the KRUT and the COS snare. I want to give the snare to a rural school that has a, get this, $50.00 per YEAR music budget.

Unfortunately the steel snare is gone, but I do still have the KRUT. Let me know if you want to work something out for it.

THanks!

Got a cheap snare stand? Or maybe an orphaned small tom? I am puttinjg together a 6 or 9 ply mahog kit for a school and could use one those old MIJ or MIT toms. It would need to have all the hardware, but wrap or not, no matter.

I definitely have a snare stand. Goes low enough for a drum set.

I might have even more stuff in a couple of days or so. I am waiting for a buddy to drop off a MIJ floor tom in blue sparkle, a 20 inch bass drum...probably a hi-hat stand as well....maybe some cymbal stands.

I will drop you a PM when I get the stuff. Might be as soon as tomorrow.

Thanks,

Adam

Cool! Anything that is really useless for you in the studio is really what I am looking for. I won a set of Whitehall hihats, with a Ludwig 70s stand on the bay for 10bucks plus shipping. He has a 20" MIJ ride I am trying to get out of him if it didn't sell. I have a couple of little things going that will net me a complete kit to donate to the school. All I have to do is find out the colors of the school and then I can start working on the kit. I need a tom and some cymbals and stuff, maybe a stand and hi-hats, and viola, they can have a kit to let the kiddos learn on.

It is sort of a passion thing for me. Having a young one in school makes you become keenly aware of how much the football and baseball and basketball programs get, and how obscenely close to nothing music and art get. This school gets 50bucks a year. That is just sickening to me. Why give all that money to football? The parents don't have to spend anywhere close to what it cost us to put our son in a 3 year karate program. 5000. You try telling a football parent it is going to cost them that for 3 years and they will scream bloody freekin' murder! Yet we can't get the schools to put a karate program in place, and these kids get consistently higher grades, and are better students, more polite, all the good things football does not allow the kids to learn. I played football for 10 years, and I'll tell you, I learned more about life in the year I took karate than all those years in football. BTW, there are nearly 7 times as many students in our local martial arts schools as play the other three combined. And they say there is no interest. No interest for who? Parents? If there was no interest, there wouldn't be that many schools, now would there? Nothing but politics for the spoiled little rich kids, and their nasty parents.

So, how about them Packers....
