The funny thing is that I already own one of these that some guy threw in for free when I bought an old little 20x6 bass drum. It's kind of worn and shows some signs of love. I thought, "Oh some fine steel wool, and it'll look great".

Sure enough, works great, looks fine, etc.

Even then, I would never consider charging someone for it. It squeaks like an old tricycle, and is just more of a fun thing to have around.

. . . then this guy comes along and reminds me that I have a $400+ pedal on my hands! Hallelujiah!

The one I've got must have been special-ordered as "The Deluxe" Model, since it actually DOES have the arm and DOESN'T have any rust.
