Be very careful of full strength CLR with nickle plated hardware
Put one of the nickle plate batches in a clear glass jar.
When the bubbles stop. Pull and rinse the lot.
CLR will destroy pot metal if left for too long of a soak.
Not going to discuss how this fact is known :-).
