I don't have a clue, but I think it's very nice, really love the looks of the strainer and lugs. If I wouldn't have so many snares and projects on hand I'd buy it.
I snagged some photos of it.....
Cool lookin'.....
The lugs look Zephyr'ish.....:)
That hardware looks very well made.
I can't remember ever seeing slotted T rods like that, very distinctive.
Interesting piece, What I see, is a beech wood shell, the smaller rings, the shell joint with strainer attached to it, and the fact that the interior book matched veneer was done, appears to be German quality.
The badge footprint from a SONOR snare of early fifties would leave three small tack holes. Area drum shops also would build on SONOR designs.
Then there`s British Dallas drum company, you could see a similarity with a Premier snare lug in there, Dallas made for all the British drums with small changes for each. But, they didn`t use a lot of beech, and never saw the book matched veneer in a British drum.
I would look toward the German Europe field or Frankenstein to find this one`s identity.
