The snare looks to have meazzie tension rods , but i can't say for sure it's a meazzie snare

This was the type of single end lug on Hollywood drums around 1960. Meazzi was a little like Trixon in that they only made a few snare drum models---mostly depth was the difference. This one doesn't have the typical parallel strainer that was typical on Hollywood snaredrums of the time and it is set up as a marching drum. It was probably an entry level drum with a pretty simple strainer. The 1961 catalogue pictures one quite similar.

Yes to "2xs" and Phil.

My 2 cents - I suppose that these characteristical italian hex-head rods have M5 thread, I'll not surprised if it so really.
