Snare wires for Pearl Jupiter?

Loading...

Can anyone tell me if Puresound makes after-market snare wires for a Pearl Jupiter (the parallel strainer, not Gladstone)? I have a 6.5" deep Jupiter coming in a few hours (yipee!!!) and the only thing I saw that looked remotely like it could work is the model RK clamshell strainers, though I remember having seen Puresounds for the Jupiter before. Any other suggestions are welcome too. Thanks in advance as always!!

Never mind! It was just delivered to me and it turns out it is the one with the gladstone strainer (like Copeland but 6.5 deep). After digging through the net It's probably I good thing I don't need to find special snare wires for it as it probably would have cost me big bucks..

Hey Human71,

I can't believe this was for sale for $65 in Montéal for at least 3 weeks before I jumped on it. It's impeccable! I'll detail it just because I like to buff stuff, but really it's already like new. It was being sold as a Pearl Professional model, which are steel snares, not COB, though cool as well.

I suppose that long Pearl wires S-025 will be possible to try to adapt with a bit DIY

Cheers,

George.
