I read with interest the earlier thread re: snares wires for Supra's, and wonder if it also applies to 14x5 Jazz Festivals? What did Ludwig originally supply with the Jazz Fest., and what is the best replacement for them today?

They originally came with 18 strand script logo wires. To me nothing beats those wires, and a nice vintage set tends to go for about the same price as new puresound wires on ebay.
