Snare straps for your project

Loading...

I like grosgrain ribbon. It works great on many but but not all throws. Some folks, when they have a strainer that only has string holes and a butt plate that will hold ribbon, mix and match the two.

If you get around to a fabric store, you'll find that there are a multitude of colours to chose from, you may have a feng shui moment.

From slingerland

Hey guys, if anyone has a snare project going on, I have a great source for snare tension straps made of clothe, I'm so excited about this stuff I re did all my snares with this stuff. It works so much better than cord or plastic. lays flatter on the head, throw works nice and smooth, and won't frey like cord will. I can throw you some FREE samples if you want to check it out, yes I said free, trying to do some good deeds with all the crap going on in the world................peaceband3

Hello, slingerland!

That's quite an admirable deed you are doing! Yep, the world is crazy. I'd like to try some of your strapping as I am in the middle of restoring an old Star marching snare. Please, I insist on paying for your product though. I'll send a PM in a moment. Peace.

These are pretty cool. Easy to install and hold nice and tight. Much better than the plastic strips that they replaced. The throw on/off smooth "like butta".
