Snagged a Premier 6.5 by 14 Brushed Chrome snare today!

Loading...

Rare size...have seen close to 10-15 of the 5.5 by 14's over the last 2-3 years..

Only 1 other of these......and it was in England.......

3 extra small holes added .....but I could look for 5-10 years for the next one...

The outside finish looks excellent luckily...as most are pitted......not as bad as Supras...but still can look bad....Clapping Happy2

Will post pics when I get it.....

Forgot to mention...

The snare is the Hi-Fi model.....

Artie Deco lugs, die cast rims,a very cool outside finish...whats not to like?

Found it on the vintage drum guide here....

It was only in the 1972 catalog....

It's not in the 1973 ...so...only made for 1 year?

No wonder I only saw 1 other......cool.....

Update:

Now that I think about it....

The last catalog is from 1968 before the 1972,and it is not in the 68. so..I guess it is possible they made it for more then 1 year, but still...have only seen 1 other...

If anyone else has seen one....please let me know.....thanks
