Hey, everyone. Well, I am becoming kind of addicted to this site and often just keep it "on" while I am at home in the evenings. I must say, I heard the Joel Frahm group playing with Otis Brown III on drums and...wow! were those cats swingin'!

I noticed they are on again tonight doing a live recording. So far, every band I've seen playing there have been exceptional. I saw Adam Cruz playing drums in the Bruce Barth trio last night and they played a kind of maracatu beat that was really cool.

Don't know where in the world you guys are from, but if you are ever in NYC check it out live. Its a really cool, completely laid back club. Its all about the music, not anything else.

And check out Ari Hoenig. He plays there or Fat Cat -their sister club around the corner, all the time.

Amazing drummer. Completely unique.
