Slingy Question

Loading...

adam. i know you didn't ask this but the chicago black gold badge faces the reso side or drummer. also my wfl cluddate faces the reso side or drummer this is a 22" bass drum logo pictured!

Reso side "or" drummer? Meaning it could be either? Either you are confused about which side the "reso" side is, or I am reading this incorrectly. That pic doesn't help much because we can't see which side the badge is facing!!!

Anyone else understand this? Am I just a dumb-dumb?

DJAM-it looks like the puzzle is complete!

For the most part, it seems that Slingerland drums faced their badges to the audience.

Ludwig, WFL? To the player? I am not sure as I don't have any keystone bass drums other than a big WFL bass drum....but it is virgin and double tension so I can't tell which way it should be! I know the B/O Ludwig badges face the player for sure though. Anyone with proof on the keystone drums? Transition era Ludwig?

Here is another question. On a single tension bass drum, do the adjustable tension rods face the audience or the player? I would assume player so that tuning can be adjusted while playing. Anyone know for sure?

I bet no one ever expected this thread to go this far!
