Slingy I.d. Needed Last viewed: 8 hours ago

I'm hoping that someone can help identify this particular snare drum. From what I can tell with my one functioning eye it appears to be a vintage Slingerland (?) snare with off-set beavertail lugs. However, I can't seem to find any Slingerland snares with off-set lugs until the early 70s Buddy Rich model. Am I missing something here?

BTW.........Nice vintage "throne", don't you agree?

I thought the same thing but if you look a little closer you'll see the butt of a stick in her left hand.

oldschool, Question are you able to purchase this drum? it is a very very rare Radio king, mike curotto has one like this in the super rare finish called brown abalone. it's featured on page#136 of Rob Cooks Slingerland book. BUY THIS DRUM IF POSSIBLE!!!

I already checked into the availability of the drum. Unfortunately, the gentleman who owned it at the time the picture was taken has absolutely no idea in regard to its whereabouts.
