Slingy bass 20x14

What might this be worth? It's 20x14... serial no. 226352 ('68ish?) .... wrap and badge are tight ... has not been drilled for tom mount... hardware is good+... I removed one head to look for stamps, part of a P is visible ... light chocolate milk interior.... no bass spurs... and the optional quirky hand-painted heads ( double quirky, both sides are the same )

Thanks, all!!

Looks like it's in awesome shape, actually. I wouldn't worry about lack of spurs, the spur mounts look to be there.

The only "issue" is...the fade on that sparkle..is gonna be hard to match up if you wanna make a kit out of it...you'd probably need to splurge for one of the drummaker custom colored wraps/

But, it's a cool fade on the red. It's very pretty.

I dunno...maybe $100 or so...$125 tops.

Actually, it might be a Glitter..I have seen Slingy red glitters fade dark like that.

Reading the good Doctor's words, he shared that most Slingy wraps were glitter, seldom was sparkle used...... but what are the "tells" between the two?

Looking to build a jazz config. with her.

Thanks Jaye

Glitter really sparkles.....hehehe...that's a silly but accurate way of putting it. Glitter has crushed glass in it, it really reflects and shimmers way more than sparkle does...sparkle is flatter.

if you go to drummaker.com and click on any sparkle or glitter sample, a window comes up comparing the two....it's a decent set of pics for comparison sake...

Yes, I would agree...most if not all old Slingys I have seen seemed to be Glitters.
