I had done the "spring fix" even though I did not need it.(...)All I can say is, "If it ain't broke, don't 'fix' it!"
Wow, after reading this (seems as if I overread it before :( ), I remember I did exactly the same. Though I wonder how that changes the whole thing, I am going to remove the spring. I'll let you know what finally (?) happend.
