Hello "Good" Doctor, I am hoping that you can help me identify the years for the attached T's. The Slingerland T at the bottom first appeared in 1957 through 1962? The Gretch T in the middle confused me until I could put it side by side with the somewhat similar Slingerland. The top T followed the bottom in 1962? I have appreciated your vast knowledge on Slingerland history and hope to continue to learn. Thank you, Bill [Attachment: 787]

Right that is basically correct. The first T-rod (bottom) with the straight collar appeared at the end of 1957, with 1958 its first real meaningful year. The bell-shaped collar (top) appeared in force in 1962. You will see, however, a bit of an overlap during 1962. You may even see a bass drum with a late 1961 shell date with the later bell T-rods. But primarily the first version is 1958 - 1961, the second version 1962 - 1970 (early).
