Slingerland Shell ID. Please help? Thanks.

Loading...

Came w/ no strainer and no Slingerland badge, no wrap.

Does have 8 Singerland lug casings,

interior was painted gray or silver,

3 or 4 ply (guessing Mahogany exterior ply),

Has a round washer the size of a US quarter that has engraved on it, "SLINGERLAND CHICAGO. ILL. U.S.A. " This washer was imbedded or seated in the exterior side of the shell to the right of throw off holes between two lug casings.

Both rims are triple flanged cob. The top rim flares inward/bottom rim flares outward.

Have been all over the place for a hint but no luck.

Help is greatly appreciated.

thanks,

mike

I'm not convinced it is Slingerland...

One picture would answer all of the questions..

The silver painted interior was usually on Japanese import brands and they did have Slingerland copy lugs...

Then again someone could have painted the interior...

It is best to show a picture or two for the most accurate answer

Thanks David, a very prominent drummer friend told me the same thing, said the silver interior paint doesn't fit the picture I'll get a picture up soon.
