Slingerland Shelbyville Badge

Loading...

I know, I know...I should really be posting this on the Slingerland fourm, but the turnaround time here is much better.

Anyway, I am very new to all of this and am very interested in Slingerland Drums that were produced at the Shelbyville plant in Tennessee. I'm not posting this in the classifieds, because I have no idea how much they go for, how rare they are, or who has any of them. I can't even find a picture of one! The only pic I've seen is in the badge section of this site.

Any links or info concerning this would be GREATLY appreciated.

They are hard to find!!! The Slingerland book by Rob Cook should answer some of your questions, it has about 4 pages worth of info.

I have seen a few 6 lug snares and an 8 lug snare on another forum at drumforum.org but never a drum set.

These belong to two members of that forum

Mind Blowi

Oh David, how you taunt me! Seriously though, thank you for those pics. I really hope to have one of those drums someday. Until then, I'll just keep my eyes and ears open.
