Slingerland: Set-O-Matic Tom Holder Dilemma

Loading...

I'm new to the forum and vintage drums so bear with me. I picked up what I think is a 73 or 74 slingerland silver/black niles badge kit...serial #s are 181XXX. The double tom set-o-matic has a round post and appears to have been cut at the bottom. From what I read on another thread it may have been cut from a double tom stand. Anyway, the bass receiver mount for the set-o-matic has been re-drilled and not in good shape. I'm looking to replace it, but not sure what I could use. Any ideas? I am attching some pics.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum, as long as your kit is original, no extra holes etc!! stay with the stock piece get a real set-o-matic tom holder. the reciever plate on your bass drum is also not stock!

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!
