Slingerland "Sound King" 61/2X14

Loading...

My "Slingerland Sound King" 6.5" x 14" has now finally arrived from America. The old drum heads were replaced and then I installed the new vintage zoomatic 20-strand Puresound snarewire.

My great Sound King snare. Did a recording of my Sound King with a rock riff of mine.

My rock tune is called "Lemon Moon".

and here is my latest tune where I use my Sound King again. "Toxic Skunk"

enjoy,

Fred, nice drum, the link you provided is a snare butt gate, not a zoomatic knob? did your drum not come with this snare butt on it?

Fred, post some pics of the snare drum zoomatic strainer and the butt end for me. post them in the restoring vintage drum section, instead of here in the gallery if you will,, the zoomatic strainer look to be correct, I'm asking what butt end did your come with when it arrived?

fred, as long as this is the drum that you recieved it is 100% factory, this looks to be a very nice one too!

Yes, I know, but I don't like that he is selling a strainer, including the little original knob that was not included on my snare!FredHurting

Fred, Ok I'm with you know, but in the written copy it does mention this very fact, just buy another zoomatic, and it will be 100% factory then< and then you can sell yours off to recoup some of the cost, I know that's not what you want to do, but I bet there aren't many Cob Krupa slingerlands where your located at are they?

Fredrik, I'm with you. It happens that sellers atomise shells/ sets/ cymbal sets to make more money.

Do you still have the chance to give him a 'special note' into the feedback? Or was he so hard-bitten to wait until you have placed the feedback?

Don't like this behaviour as well, as I like to build up again drums to 100 % genuine status only and always.

Hi kevin, yes I see what you mean. Anyway, now the drum has arrived and I have just installed the new zoomatic strainer which works even smoother than the previous one. This drum just sounds like a dream!Fred

They were regarding the seller thrashing you were unknowingly and undeservingly giving a forum member.

Happy your drum sounds good.
