Does anyone know if they made early 70's 8/10" toms in white pearl, I have been searching e bay and other sites for years, never saw any, I asked every booth at the drum show, nothing, I recently saw a set on e bay that was in another color that had a 8 and 10" toms, not sure why this is so hard to find, maybe its because they don't exsist in my color? thoughts?

They were offered in the '76 catalog in "choice of any finish" with the
sturdy Set-O-Matic stand.
I did see the mighty Louie Bellson with a pair in the early 80's.
In WMP.
The high pitched set ( 6, 8, 10 & 12 with 2 stands ) would have
set you back a whopping $283.00.
In 1976 dollars of course...

I'm sure they're out there somewhere.
I've searched for years and years for a set of '70s Slingerland red tiger pearl concert toms, and finally saw a set this past weekend at the Chicago show. (They were part of a complete set, so I couldn't get them.)
WMP has always been popular and Slingerland made thousands of concert toms.
You can also check Craigslist.About 3 week's ago i pick up a set of them in W.M.P. 6",8",10",12" with stand's for 125.00..Sold them to a very good friend for 125.00...Mikey
