Slingerland Lug questions Last viewed: 1 minute ago

Forgive me if you've read this elsewhere, but I wanted to get the questions (and WTB) out there. Thanks experts.http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/images/smilies/bowing.gif

WTB Slingerland Tom, 50-53 WMP 12" or 13"

Hello,

Frequent reader, infrequent poster.

Years ago, the singer/songwriter I played out with quite a bit had made his record without a rack tom, so this two piece was a no-brainer. Now, I'm playing in a band again and would like to swap this set every now and then with my Rogers '75 Big-R kit. The Radio Kings sing.

On my floor tom, the thumb screws aren't original, so the 12" or 13" tom you have doesn't have to be perfect. Could even be a different badge (did the toms have badges back then, btw?). I just want the lugs and finish to match. I believe I have streamline lugs?

Question #1: What is a fair price for a Tom to go with my Kick and Floor? I traded for my drums a dozen or so years ago, so my pulse on the market is not keen.

Question #2: If you experts can tell me definitively by my pic, do I have Streamline or Beavertail lugs?

Alright, thanks contributors! I value you're knowledge. Happy Holidays,

Chris

You may want to consider having one built,as a reproduction could be made with identical ply layup, hardware and aged WMP wrap. I don't know if anyone sells stick-choppers.
