Slingerland Krupa 5"x14"Snare Drum

I need help for evaluation of a Slingerland Krupa snare on Ebay, Black and Gold Badge#159830. In which year it was made(really vintage?) Is it a good snare? And the correct price?

Many thanks.

Yes, it is a nice snare and I recently purchased the exact drum with a case, stand and sticks for a Buy It Now on Ebay for $125 plus $15 shipping and that is lower then what I normally see these go for.

The drum is probably late 60's based on the serial number brass Niles Badge.

I hope that helps.

Hello, The other Slingerlands (with very closely numbered badges) by the eBay seller show Aluminum mounts that were only offered in 1968. I think?

Hi,

many thanks for your competent help!

For my precedent question about ludwig snare no news?

Can you help me, David? (i am finding for parts - bottom rim, snare wires - for a correct restoration).

Thanks again, Antonio

There is a wanted section of the forum, I would post it there. The butt side

can be different on the WFL so to accurately get the wires we need to know which butt it has.

I personally do not have the parts, but I know others probably will so get the word out in the wanted section and see if you get any replies.

Also, keep searching Ebay.
