i am trying to identify an incomplete Slingerland kit that dates to 1956-1959. Recently purchased, it is in black diamond pearl and made up of an 8 x 12 rack tom and 10 x 20 bass. given the closed loop on the S in Slingerland on the bass drum badge, it confirms its from 1956-1959. the 16 x 16 floor tom is dated April 65 on the inside shell so it is an incorrect and umatched piece, althpugh the toms black diamond pearl wrap looks close to the wrap on the bass and rack tom. this kit is some type of easy traveling type of, or cocktail kit. i have photos i can send along, and will also be in need of a few parts. contact me for photos, and Slingerland parts info for this kit.
