Yes, Slingerland. Look at the clamshell strainer. A student model, but I don't know the name.

I dont think that is an authentic slingerland. The shell construction is odd. It should have re rings or be five ply. It could possibly be a spirit three ply without re ring shell or the dreaded sonotube shell. Is it a 6x13? I dont recall them making that size and the color and six lugs are also odd. Why didnt they show more of the shell in the one pic. Smells funny.

It looks to be a Slingerland for sure, 6 lug with a zoomatic is a bit odd. Slingerland did some odd stuff while in their death throes though (cardboard shells being one example). There were also imports later on with the right lugs, hoops, and even the zoomatic on Asian made shells.

I guess the answer is that yes it is a "Slingerland", but that does not necessarily mean it's any good.

Yes, more pictures and info are needed to identify just what this is. That shell looks like a 3-ply, but without rings. The strainer is the Zoomatic, which never showed up on 6-lug snare drums. The shell appears to be a 6.5x14. Slingerland did offer this size, in a 6-lug configuration and Rapid strainer, cataloged as the Concert Hall Model Snare Drum, #167.

Still, we really need to see this drum up close, with better views of the shell.

It looks like the Masonite shell to me.

That's a very good possibility. Which could account for that funky looking snare bed!
