Slingerland Drums

Loading...

Is anyone interested in buying this Slingerland kit? I have a chance to buy a wmp Slingerland, but I would need to sell these.

The 8x12 is late 60's, missing muffler

The 16x16 is late 60's, missing muffler

The 14x22 is dated March 5, 1959

All drums are in a deep blue sparkle finish.

Make me an offer, thanks.

Look, I'm not into all this orphan drum lingo, I buy drums because I like them.

It doesn't bother me if they were made as a set or not, they are a set now.

They are what they are, if you have an interest, make me an offer, if not, then

thanks for looking.

This kit sounds good on those videos. All of your kits have sounded good on your videos. Hope you finally find that one that will win you over, and I'm serious when I say that.

Well thanks, I'm really happy with this kit and to be honest, I'd

rather not sell it. Unfortunately, I have to if I want to buy this Slingerland wmp kit.

I will second Mendozat's comment. I hope you find that magic kit and it connects with you. There's something special when you sit behind it. Good luck.

Maybe if he holds onto a kit longer than a week or two he will find that the current kit is that "magic" kit......this guy changes kits more often than I change underwear! DOH

Nothing wrong with changing kits and drums...variety is the spice of life!

I don't see an issue with orphan drums. I wanted an early 50's Gene Krupa Outfit, so I bought everything I needed to make it happen! Until I finally break down and buy the wrap for them, I am so far only out around $300!

I think what he's getting at is out of 78 threads, 51 are For Sale or Trade threads on kits that have moved through. No big deal.

I agree that there is nothing wrong with changing kits.....but on a near weekly basis?? That's just plain insanity.....

Ok, so maybe he's looking for a certain sound....well....try changing heads, tuning, type of stick you use, the way you play them....you can get just about any musical style out of one kit if you play with it enough. And you gotta spend time with it to do that...not just give up after a week saying nope, not what I'm looking for....I wonder if he even knows what he is looking for.....
