where would be the best place to post this drum set if i decided to sell it? I have never done this before and am just asking for as much infomation as possible.

[COLOR="Indigo"]Tammy...I have to agree that the initial estimate over $1000 was too aggressive...so, just FYI, I would not have my heart set on getting that sort of dollar for these. they are nice, and they are original, but they need cleaning up and quite honestly, they aren't particularly unique. They might get an insured/appraised valuation of that, but they do not have a market value near that.

So, if you would be happy with the $700-850 vicinity, you could probably sell these successfully on Craigslist (you may have to expand geographically to using Boston Craigslist) or perhaps on eBay (although keep in mind, then you would have to ship them).

You should also post them in the "for sale" section here, and perhaps on some other vintage drum forums. Merely posting on this thread and asking for offers will not give the kit the exposure it needs to sell it, likely.

There are some good drum shops near you as well, I believe, so you could give that a try. But realistically, in this economy, do not expect $1000.
