Just saw a Facebook page for slingerland. On the page it says they are currently producing drums again using Keller shells. Also says they are struggling to gain market space. Anyone know if this is true?

Appears to be linked to Gibson's website. Maybe this is just an old page or old info? Not sure.
I'm pretty sure that is an old page that should have went down years ago.
Yes there's a old Slingerland page on the Gibson site. A few years ago when I started looking at drums again my boys worked at the local store here. I asked them to check prices and they were not making any new drums at the time.
If it is the old web site I am thinking about those drums look really nice. The jazz set was sweet. To bad they didn't make it.
^^^^ Yes~! I was looking at the GK setup and it was really sweet. I really had my hopes up you could still buy them. Oh well........LoLoLoLo jokes on me. ;)
Well, all I know is about 3 years back when I got laid off my manufacturing management job I of course went the unemployment compensation route for a few months. Of course as part of the 'territory' I had to look for and apply for work. One job I found online was an opening for a manufacturing supervisor which I met all of the qualifications and had the experience... I was pretty excited because even though it meant a major move, it was for Gibson/Slingerland in their Slingerland plant.
I found out later it was an 'old' page and not only was there NO openings, there was NO plant...
Oh well. I'm probably happier staying in Kansas anyway....

Ouch! That is quite a story Bill. Sorry it worked out that way!
I was just looking at the Slingerland / Gibson page and there are some updated photos from as recent as 2011. Has anyone tried to contact Gibson recently.
