Here's a pic of my '04 Conway Slingerland "custom" Buddy Rich #80N... with a couple changes. These were built to my specs by Slingerland with regard to hardware and mount placement. Also, I opted to substitue a 14X14 floor tom for one of the 16X16's, which gives these drums a nice difference and closer spread in tuning.

I had all the mounts installed in the correct spots for the original Buddy Rich #80N kit as the way they come from Slingerland now is incorrect. Also, all the hardware and mounts are Slingerland OEM 70's era, save the spurs, as those holes couldn't be modified. Otherwise, it's all there!

These drums are now four years old and I can already detect a difference in their sound from when new. The maple is aging/mellowing, thus the drums sound much warmer. They LOOK great with the nice and white Slingerland WMP, which will never yellow/fade!
