Up for sale is a 1960s Slingerland 3-piece "Windsor Outfit" in gorgeous capri pearl. This kit was originally made for players who didn't have much stage room, hence the cymbal mount and lack of floor tom. This kit is in players condition, although there are no modifications or spare holes. Overall, there is a ton of purple in the wrap with probably the biggest abalone flakes I've seen in a kit with this finish. The chrome is in nice shape, with minor pitting and a bit of rusting, but it shines as you can see in the photos. All the drums have clear interiors. The rack tom and snare are in nice shape - with one split in the wrap (not the wood) near one of edges. The floor tom has it's share of bubbling which is common on these wraps, mostly going along the resident side of the head by the lugs. There is also a split in the wrap underneath/around the cymbal mount. The inlay is missing from both hoops, although I do have about half of the original inlay (if not a little more) for one side of the hoop I'd be glad to include. I'd grade the edges about a B - not perfect but no major gashes or dents. Overall, this is a nice players kit in a rarer wrap for a good price. Snare stand is included as well.
