I'm restoring a Slingy bass from the mid 70's. Originally it was a single head that was converted into a double head. The added front lugs are a larger size than the originals.
My question is, did Slingerland change to a larger (taller and wider) BD lug size at some point? I'd like to replace them but need the same footprint since the wrap is indented.

I'm pretty certain the 60's and 70's BD lugs are the same size. Maybe from something later or other drum make? There's also reproduction lugs and some MIJ knockoffs made. A picture of each would help and hopefully the experts here can assist you further.
