Slingerland bass drum T-bolt

Loading...

I'm restoring a '67 Slingerland kick drum, and it's missing one of the T-bolts for the spurs. I've come to find out that the thread measurement is super hard to find these days - Home Depot, local custom fastener place, a couple vintage drum shops... one of which referred me to this forum!

As seen in the photo below, it's 5/16"-24... Anyone have any hints? I'd happily buy one, or better, two, of these if anyone has any spares...

FWIW, I have decided to have a friend who does metal work re-thread the spur brackets and I'll go with some sort of modern t-bolt. Authenticity be damned, at least I won't be using clamp-on spurs!

If you use a Heli-Coil insert in the mounts then you can use your existing T bolts..

Cheers
