Does anyone have an extra pair of 60's bass drum spurs that they'd like to sell?
I don't need the brackets that attach to the drum, just the two chrome rods that stabilize the drum.
Let me know what you have.
Thanks
Steve

Bump for spurs...
Hello Steve,
I have a pair of spurs. They are a little rough with missing chrome. I know you don't need the mounts but I took these photos a while back.
One spur is about 1/4" longer than the other. They are just over 11" long.
I'd sell these spurs but you might want to wait for a cleaner pair.

What diameter ?Early 60's...or...late 60's?

Those are a bit rough, I think I'll pass on those but thanks anyway. I picked up this BD and it's pretty mint. It even has original heads. I want to get nice spurs. But again, thanks!
That's a GREAT question! I've been trying to determine that with no luck. The serial number is 178,376 and from what I can determine it's around 66-68. There are no stampings inside, just the "milky" coating.
Any opinions?
Here are some pictures.
