Slingerland Bass Drum Legs - Double Set

Loading...

I'm restoring a Slingy kit from the mid-70's.

It has 2 sets of legs on the bass drum. It's a 20 inch.

The back set of leg mounts are mounted a little higher than the front and I am trying to find out what length replacement legs I would need.

thanks!

The spur casting are not even in height? Hmmmmmmmmm

What you could do since you probably wont find the rods is to go to a Hardware store and use cold rolled steal and make your own. You can use a chrome paint and rubber tips for the feet....

If the 727 casting strip....You can drill out the casting or file out the threads

and get a helicoil...Most auto guys know what that is..

You can then bond the screw inside with the casting by using a metel compound material that you mix like epoxy....becareful not to get any on the inside of the coil..Allow to dry and replace the screw and you are ready to go.Cool1
