Slingerland advice

Don't worry! Have done my research! Basically, I've seen a slingerland kit for sale with snare, plus two premier smaller toms and all hardware and cymbals and hardcases for £400.

Going off the vintage drum info on here, badges would make it an import, so I know, strictly not in the vintage drum remit, but hey, at least I saved everybody the bit where you have to tell me it's not Niles and not worth a lot!

I know they're not the real thing, but I've heard they still sound good, even if they have no value.

Anyway, I reckon it could still be a decent players kit and with full hardware and cymbals plus extras, possibly worth the price tag? (remember, Slingys are harder to find over here in the UK than in the US, no matter what the age!)

Serials begin with 89 and the sizes, which I think are quite odd, are 20, 16, 14, 13.

Could it be a spirit or a custom? Any advice?

Cheers!

Update: Seller says they are 30 years old, but badges with just 'quality drums' and a serial are not that old surely? Confusing!
