Slingerland 80N BR Kit

From Dan Boucher

All I can say is that it's a good thing there's 3000 miles between CT and CA, or TommyP would be over tonight to hit those beauties a few times. Party

Dan!

How can you possibly know me that well??!! Frightening actually!, 'cause yeah... I would!!! ... if Mark wouldn't mind of course!

Tommyp, Glenn, Cam, Dan, Stevo!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments!

Tommyp! Nothing would make me happier than to have you grace my BR kit with your playing. I could just see you using the kit for one of your gigs. Can I get a front row seat?!! Bowing

I'm guessing that if Cathy Rich follows this forum, she'll be contacting you to put them in the BR museum. I love the towel holder too. I don't ever recall seeing a set in WMP that is so uniform in color after so many years.

By the way, do your neighbors ever inquire as to what you are doing when you set kits up on the front lawn? D' Drummer

Larry, John, Vibes, Dan...Thanks for the great comments on my BR kit!

Calling Cathy Rich...Cathy Rich!!

It's funny about the color of the WMP. At first, I thought it was evenly yellowed, but the color changes, depending on the lighting. But, yes, it is very uniform...and looks incredibly classy. There's nothing like the older patterns of WMP.

I've taken pictures of quite a few of my kits on the front lawn. Never seems to be neighbors around...until I had the BR kit set up! My neighbor from across the street came over to check the kit out. Even a stranger, who had just parked to go to a party at the other end of the street, said "beautiful kit" as he was walking by. Can't help but feel proud!
