for 400.... is that a fair price? no pics. just off the top of your head what do you think?
slingerland 70's wmp
Is that a kit? Is that a snare? Is that a WinAmp plugin for your PC? Give us a bit more to go on and we can give an estimate. Thanks.
oh yeah sorry
the add reads
"Slingerland drums 24" kick 13"tom 16" floor tom maple shells white marine pearl finish"
Get em to toss in a snare or some cymbals...
My opinion for '70's
Tom = $100
Floor Tom = $200
Bass = $175
Total = $475
And they should be in good shape.

Hey GoneDrumming...do those prices hold if they are not the 3-ply? I've always been curious about that.
I'd say it depends upon the player. The thicker shells were pretty good until the late '70's...$400 for the 3 pcs. isn't bad IF the kit is in good shape (no extra holes, no buggered wrap condition, original hardware still intact (particularly tom mount system and FT leg mounts and spurs) no bad pitting on the chrome, bearing edges in good shape, wrap faded uniformly).
Not a steal, but maybe just this side of a decent deal for the buyer.
Those are pretty standard for me regardless of ply. I just start adding like $25 -$75 per drum as the decades go backward. Seems to work.
