Came across this late 1950's Slingerland silver sparkle "Super Gene Krupa" Model. It has the Radio King solid shell with glue rings. Pretty clean. Has a bit of re-ring separation like most and missing original snare wires. The finish has aged evenly so looks more like champagne in a glass instead of the brighter silver sparkle.

Looks good. No date stamp. Badge to the right of the throw would indicate late '60 to early '61. Tone control is 180 degrees across from badge?
I'm not home right now but I will check the location of the tone control tonight, but I think you're right! You seem to know a lot about this drum, any idea what it would be worth?
