I guess the seller had not completed his thoughts. Out of nowhere, he emailed me again...

I believe this might answer a lot of questions we all had, but did not dare ask.

Hi All,

I know I'm weighing in at the end of all this but I was looking at that kit on EBAY as well. I'm glad I decided against pursuing it (I already have enough drum projects ahead of me!) because this guy (the seller) sounds like a real piece of work. Even if the drums were exactly what I was looking for if I got one of his jackass replies I would have passed on the kit rather than give this fool the pleasure of making the sale. At least some of you got some memorable quotes! I don't understand why he would even bother to respond if he was going to be an jerk. Did he really think anyone he responded to in such a manner would actually purchase anything from him? I suggest we all make note of his EBAY monicker (orion95008) for future reference...

Here is a picture of my 14x14 (remember my floor tom?) with a leg mount removed so we can all see the original covering to help determine the true color. I hope this finely will help resolve the color issue.

Here is another picture that I had to compress to make fit. It is a little closer than the first. Again, I hope this helps.
