Slingerland 12x15" marcher restoration 101

This drum has special meaning to me due to the fact that this drum belonged to the local university in my home town Lenoir Rhyne University and my past pastor John Jones who has since passed on was at this college when this marcher was performing on their local football field. I was able to show it to him and he was the one that supplied me with some of this marchers history.this is the before pic, and one with it paint stripped. will post the end result.

That's a really sweet snare! Are you going back to white or stain?? What strainer did it have on it? Can't wait to see more. I have a real soft spot for these Slingerlands..... cool project~! Clapping Happy2
