Slingerland 20" floor tom conversion set up, turned out great, can revert drum back to floor tom anytime, sounds great, perfect for smaller gigs easy to transport also.

I like that! I am going to do the same thing with my 16"x18" Champagne floor tom. Just waiting for a part I need which will arrive tomorrow. I am not going the full route with wood hoops, rods, and clamps though. My design is a little more simple. I will post it up Sat. Most likely. Your looks great!

Cool kit! How did you mount the tom to the cymbal stand? Is that a super SOM with a attachment arm or?

easy.............I used a standard cymbal stand with one of these

I have a bunch of bass drum sling tom mounts and all I did was put it in the above clamp, works great.
