Can someone tell me what the above snare might be valued at 60's wood shell in WMP, where does this series fall compared to the other snare models for that same era, would $400 be a fair price?
Sling Hollywood Ace snare
70's Pearl Fiberglass Ivory
they are a top of the line snare drum right underneath the Radio king's, I sold my mint condition Wmp Hollywood ace 1964 model for $250.00 + shipping, $400.00 is way off base.
Heres the one I was looking at, opening bid is 299, I would think it will go for more, if it was a 70's I'd bid on it,

the one I sold was every bit as nice as this one as I stated the going rate for them is $250.00. it's your call if you want it buy it, this is a nice one.here is a pic of the one I sold.
As usual, a Slingerland drum that is undervalued. (Radio Kings excepted)
That said, the Hollywood Ace model usually fetches $250 or less, most times a good deal less, as VTM stated.
Do you guys know of a WMP wood snare from the 70's I can get my hands on?
