Hi Slingerland! If the cymbal you are referring to is that 20" ride, I don't believe it's rare. The cymbal appears to be nothing more than a cheap brass cymbal with the Slingerland logo imprinted on the top, with an opening price of $179. Is that the one you're talking about? I really wouldn't pay more than $50 and that may be too high. I hope others will chime in on this if I'm wrong about what it is.

[COLOR="Purple"]There are two versions...one being what was described by id4f...just brass-alloy beginner cymbals which were probably sold as the stock cymbals with kits in the '70's or '80's.
Rarer are the ones which ARE B20 alloy...I have only seen a few in the past decade. Take a close look at the auction and you should be able to tell if they are cheap-o's or something better....[/COLOR]
